The Register of Deeds office performs a wide range of services to both the professional community and the general public, including:
- Record and preserves real estate documents (including but not limited to Deeds, Deeds of Trust, Power of Attorneys)
- Issue Notary oaths
- Maintain and issue copies of birth and death certificates
- Issues, maintain and provide copies of marriage licenses
- Record Military Discharge records (Form DD214)
- Offers a Real Estate Fraud Detection Service
- Accept first-time passport applications and provide forms & photos for renewals
- Provide Notarial services
